DJ Awards Unveil 2024 Ceremony and Afterparty Headliners
The highly anticipated DJ Awards make their grand return on October 2nd at Chinois, Ibiza. This year's ceremony marks the beginning of a new era, honoring publicly voted winners across multiple essential categories. Following the awards, a spectacular afterparty will feature electrifying sets from renowned artists including Luciano, Cristoph, Mathew Jonson, Ben Sterling, and Manu Gonzalez.
Nestled in the heart of Ibiza’s Marina, Chinois boasts an opulent atmosphere, dynamic 360-degree screens, and a cutting-edge sound system, making it the perfect venue for the DJ Awards ceremony and afterparty. This event promises to be another unmissable celebration beneath the disco ball, especially as it coincides with one of the summer's most exciting residencies.

Doors will open at 10:30 PM, with the awards ceremony scheduled from 11:30 PM to 12:30 AM. BBC Radio 1 tastemaker Jaguar returns to host the awards, alongside respected electronic music personality Katie Knight, a familiar face in Ibiza who will interview artists backstage after the ceremony. The afterparty is set to kick off in the club at 12:30 AM.
Headlining the afterparty is the legendary Luciano, who will be honored with the Ibiza Icon Industry Award that night. Attendees can expect a magical performance filled with his signature stripped-back minimal sound infused with Latin flair. Other performers include public-voted nominees such as Cristoph (HUB Ibiza Studios Tech House), Mathew Jonson (Live Act), Ben Sterling (The RIOT Noise Breakthrough Artist), and Ibiza staple Manu Gonzalez.
This year's categories encompass International DJ of the Year 2024, House, Drum & Bass, Techno, Progressive House, Organic House, Afro, and Trance, all determined through public voting. In addition, the event will feature special Industry Awards presented to select winners, chosen by a panel of industry professionals.
Founded in 1998 by José Pascual and Lenny Krarup, the DJ Awards have earned a reputation as the 'Oscars of electronic dance music.' Now under new ownership and revitalized with fresh investment after a four-year hiatus, the awards return to continue their legacy of championing excellence in global dance music.
