LA PARTY SOCIETY SUED BY CITY FOR ALLEGEDLY VIOLATING COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS

The Los Angeles attorney is suing the manager of an underground nightclub LA Party Society and the city is seeking millions of dollars in compensation.

According to a Los Angeles Times report, a nightclub located in the Fashion District operated as usual, holding events during the pandemic, ignoring regulations in place to prevent the spread of the COVID 19.

The lawsuit alleges that “public order and unfair competition laws” were violated.

City prosecutors are demanding fines of $ 2,500 per day, which is up to $ 3.65 millions of dollars.

What's more, the city is working with local police to shut off water and electricity to permanently close the club.
