SIPPY Makes Monstercat Debut With Heavy Bass Single “Get Wompy”

Flourishing bass maestra SIPPY today makes her Monstercat debut with the heavy-hitting release of “Get Wompy”

“Get Wompy” sees SIPPY demonstrate her growth as an artist, elevating her sound design skills to new bass territories. She crafts a wobbly soundscape with an addictive bassline powered by otherworldly drops and bouncy rhythms. The pre-drop vocals, authentically her own, traverse the track with all the makings for a sonic bass-fueled adventure that is destined to be chanted all summer festival season long. 

SIPPY’s rise has been nothing short of meteoric, as she has been making waves globally from Australia to North America with no signs of slowing down. Known for her delectable bass records and energetic stage energy, SIPPY has graced the decks at notable festivals including Bonnaroo, Dancefestopia, Lost Lands and iconic venues including Red Rocks, Soho Studios, and more. She’s opened for heavyweights in the bass scene including Zeds Dead, Excision, and Black Tiger Sex Machine, as well as packing out venues for her own headline shows. Her collaboration with Marshmello earned her a place on his Grammy-nominated album, a testament to her prominent talent. 

Prior to her rise, SIPPY opened and operated three DJ schools in Australia, showcasing her prowess and passion for EDM. Her life is filled with determination beyond the musical realm, as she is a massive fitness enthusiast with a personal training certification, Bachelor in Applied Science (Exercise and Sports Science), and Nike ambassadorship under her belt. SIPPY is on the US Touch Football World Cup team for 2024, an area of her life that involves skill acquisition, balance, and grounding that she feels helps improve her music production.

SIPPY shares, "I've been playing this track in my sets for a very long time now and it always goes off. For a while, it really just felt like the only people who believed in it were the crowd and myself. There's no better song for my first release with Monstercat knowing that they fully trust my vision and fully believe in me as an artist is an amazing feeling. I'm very excited for this to be my first release with the Monstercat team!”

SIPPY is currently on a massive summer festival tour run, gearing up for performances at HARD Summer, Bass Canyon, Moonrise Festival, Chasing Summer, and Lost Lands. A notable alumni of Los Angeles’ ICON Collective, SIPPY prides herself on bringing much needed courage and integrity to the scene. Working her way up through Australia's famous clubs and festivals, SIPPY spent years performing multiple headline tours and at notable festivals such as Touch Bass and Spilt Milk, even earning a sponsorship with Nike from her success. Once she dominated the Australian circuit, she then set her sights on building globally - now based in Los Angeles, SIPPY has become an international treasure.

Transitioning from a supporting act for headliners like Zeds Dead, Excision, and Dirt Monkey to playing her own headline shows, Sippy is becoming a staple at the biggest bass music events in the United States, performing at iconic venues such as Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheater and large scale festivals including Lost Lands and HARD Summer. 

She’s released on bass music’s most notable labels while dishing out official remixes for A-list artists including The Chainsmokers, Zeds Dead, NERVO, and more. SIPPY counts the world’s biggest bass and EDM producers among her most avid and vocal supporters: she’s worked with household names including Bear Grillz, Virus Syndicate, and even Marshmello for his Grammy nominated album Shockwave.
