The world-renowned Gates Of Agartha series, celebrated for its fusion of music, travel, art, and culture, is set to descend deep into Mexico’s mystical jungle where the ancient Mayan civilization once thrived. From January 16th to 19th, 2025, the next chapter of this acclaimed event will unfold in Tulum, a coastal gem on the Yucatán Peninsula. Attendees can look forward to a two-day festival, as well as an exclusive Lagoon Opening Ceremony and a Cenote Closing Party, reserved for the fortunate few who purchase the Full Experience Package. The concept behind Gates Of Agartha draws from the legendary underground kingdom of Agartha, where ancient secrets and wisdom are safeguarded. After being named Best New Regional Festival for its debut in Croatia last year, the series has garnered attention for hosting unforgettable experiences in locations steeped in history. As a spin-off of the iconic Echoes From Agartha Cappadocia, which takes place in the historic landscapes of Anatolia, Turkey, Gates Of Agartha continues to push the boundaries of immersive festival culture.

Tulum, known for its well-preserved Mayan ruins and rich cultural heritage, will serve as the perfect backdrop. The event will be held at Zamna, a venue renowned for its natural beauty and mystical atmosphere, where the sacred land will be transformed into a space where the spirits of the past meet the vibrant energy of the present.

Over four days, festival-goers will experience a deep connection with the natural and spiritual world. The sacred lands of the Mayan jungle become the stage for a journey through music, history, and art, surrounded by cenotes, ancient trees, and the echoes of a civilization that shaped history.

Design Inspired by Ancient and Futuristic Aesthetics

The production design of Gates Of Agartha Tulum will be inspired by the aesthetics of ancient Mayan culture, harmoniously blended with the futuristic elements of the Agartha mythos. Attendees will have the option to choose from various immersive accommodation packages, whether in luxurious boutique villas or scenic jungle lodges, each offering unique perks for a full experience.

The adventure begins on Thursday, January 16th, with an exclusive Lagoon Opening Ceremony for 400 guests with Full Experience packages. Held at sunset, this intimate event will connect attendees with the elements—nature, water, land, and sky—through a ceremony that merges ancient Mayan traditions with futuristic designs, followed by a private party under the stars.

Friday, January 17th, and Saturday, January 18th, will host the Big Festival Nights at Zamna, where 4,500 attendees each night will embark on an immersive journey through music, art, and history. Expect world-class DJs, cutting-edge visuals, and a transformative atmosphere as the power of the jungle merges with state-of-the-art technology to create an unforgettable celebration.

The event concludes on Sunday, January 19th, with a Cenote Closing Party, held from 10 a.m. until sunset at a secret cenote location. This sacred space, surrounded by the natural beauty of the cenote, offers a moment of reflection and celebration as the festival journey comes to an end, capping off an extraordinary adventure in the heart of the Mayan jungle.
