Serato just announced the release of Serato DJ 1.9.9.

Serato just announced the release of Serato DJ 1.9.9. The update includes support for the new Roland DJ-202 and Roland DJ-505 controllers which were announced a few months back.

The Roland DJ-505 is a two-channel controller that has a hardware step sequencer onboard with samples from the legendary Roland TR-808 and TR-909 drum machines. It also comes with Roland’s VFX vocal effects engine that can be used when a mic is plugged in.

The Roland DJ-202 is a more compact controller and, while it doesn’t come with a dedicated step sequencer, you can still sequence drum grooves using the performance pads with sounds from the TR-808 and TR-909 drum machines.
