Spain is preparing for the summer and develop its tourism industry, which relies heavily on tourists from the UK.

It is ready to open its borders to visitors from the UK on 30 March. 

Government spokesperson told that “Spain is a safe country that is strictly following the recommendations of the World Health Organization and the experts." 

However, British tourists will have to wait until 17 May as international travel restrictions are currently in effect.
