WILL IBIZA BE OPEN IN 2021?

Spain looks set to welcome tourists in the spring of 2021, which means Ibiza will be open this summer!

Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said he wants Spain's population to be vaccinated as quickly as possible so that the country can "gradually" open up to tourism.

The government plans to take several foreign tourists from Germany and the UK to Ibiza ahead of the island's official opening for a coronavirus safety check.

The season in Ibiza traditionally starts in May, and the opening parties are held at the end of May and early June.

Bars and restaurants in Ibiza can open from 5 March.

Clubs in Ibiza will open as soon as it is safe, but no plans have been announced so far.
